Upon joining the company, Carl’s wealth of sales, marketing and general management experience was evident in dealing with customers, identifying their needs then calling upon the interdependencies of other departments to meet those needs and; simply ‘get the job done’ quicker and to a better standard. His ability to decisively deal with customers and other staff across the business enabled us to define, formalise and implement more efficient processes, improve customer satisfaction and generate more sales. Carl also provided invaluable support to me in my role as a new sales manager whilst also ‘walking the talk’ in successfully pitching to clients and providing practical help in steering the sales team through its many daily challenges. Regardless of his own work pressures, Carl always exhibited high positivity, immense enthusiasm and great humour. Each were infectious traits that raised and maintained morale across a very busy sales operation.
