Our Manchester-based partners, SanCloud and 3D 360 have recently commenced production of 3D printed face shields to help combat the critical shortages of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) within our healthcare services.

In collaboration with the 3DCROWD UK initiative, face shields will be distributed to healthcare provisions in most need throughout the country. To date, the 3DCROWD UK initiative has 80,000 face shields in production to meet a demand of 186,000 requested to date. What’s more, it’s estimated every COVID-19 patient requires the use of an average of 19 disposable face shields – so much more support is needed.

In response to urgent requests from healthcare provisions within the Greater Manchester area, ProMotive will be playing its part too. We will be volunteering our time to manage local requests, co-ordinate production and physically deliver to local front-line workers.
