Who we are

ProMotive Marketing are a full-service marketing agency based in Manchester, UK. Our aim is to utilise our vast real world business experience to your advantage whilst delivering a big agency experience without the big price tag.

ProMotive Marketing is home to Carl James, a Manchester (UK) based marketing consultant. As a portfolio website, a collection of work samples from his agency-side and client-side tenures serve to illustrate our experience and capabilities.

Our Founder brings to our customers extensive senior marketing, sales and R&D experience gained from director-level tenures and senior consulting roles with a number of global automotive, technology and marketing companies. Carl holds a BA (Hons) Business Management degree, a CIM PG Marketing Diploma and is a Chartered Marketer.


Our Creative Lead has over 20 years of experience in digital and print media specialising in animated videos, graphic design and illustration. She has delivered projects for the BBC, ITV and NHS and continues to provide outsourced design support to several major marketing agencies. 


Taking care of Internal Sales & Customer Service, Cathy has over 20 years experience in call centre services, telemarketing and sales administration. Her strong track record in sales have been gained within several plc’s including ICM Computer Group plc, Virgin Media and Pentland Group plc (Ellesse Sportswear).
